Lahti, hometown of Pelicans, is the Green Capital of Europe 2021. To celebrate this Pelicans played 16th of January with special jerseys reminding about Lahti’s environmental targets and facts.

Lappeenranta University of Technology is currently using life cycle assessment to examine the carbon footprint of the Lahti Pelicans and investigate ways of reaching carbon neutrality.
